Site area charges for 2009-10 (for customers of other water companies)
Your charges for surface water and highway drainage services are structured into bands determined by the chargeable area (m2) we have calculated for your site. We will be phasing in site area charging over the next three years to help your business adjust to this new method of charging.
In year 2009-2010, you will continue to pay 2/3rds of your charge based upon your existing charging or rateable value. In addition, 1/3rd of your charge based upon your site area calculation.
In year 2010-2011, we will further increase the new charge to 2/3rds and reduce the existing charge by the same proportion.
And in year 2011-2012, your charges for surface water and highway drainage will be based wholly upon site area.
The table below shows costs for 2009-2010 only. Please remember to add 2/3rds of your existing charge to this amount to calculate your total charge.
