UUW increases recent 7-year GBP issue to £300m

On 9 January 2009, United Utilities Water PLC (A3, stable; A- stable) reopened its £250m 6.125% notes due December 2015 by selling a further £50 million to Deutsche Bank.  The original issue of notes was priced on 18 December 2008 off UUW's multi-issuer Euro medium term note programme and the £50m reopening has been done via a fungible tap.
