Unmetered customers (household)
If you don't have a water meter installed in your home, your charges will be calculated as follows:
For water
- A charge based on the rateable value of your property. You pay a set amount for each £ of rateable value
- A standing charge which covers the cost of sending bills and dealing with enquires
For wastewater
- A charge for collecting and disposing of your wastewater (including surface water and highway drainage) based upon the rateable value of your property
You could be better off with a water meter
