INVESTING IN THE FUTURE OF THE NORTH WEST

Across our region we're spending £3.5 billion to make our network more resilient to the effects of climate change, to reduce the risk of drought and to continually improve drinking water quality.

It's our guarantee that our customers will have world-class service and we're spending billions to make it happen.

During difficult economic times, our investment programme means a £7 billion boost to the North West's economy, it is supporting 9,000 jobs, and securing a legacy for the future.
It's a record we're proud of - and we're proud to be at the heart of the North West

The £125 million West-East Link Pipeline is connecting our region. It will allow us to move 100 million litres of water a day between Manchester and Liverpool and give us the flexibility to do essential maintenance without unnecessary disruption to our customers.

We're working from Carlisle to Crewe to build a world-class water infrastructure. We're spending £100 million at Davyhulme to make our wastewater works there a leader in green energy; £50 million at Rochdale to clean up local rivers; and £44 million on a 6-year project to clean Manchester's ring main - the "M60" of the city's drinking water network.

We're doing all we can to prevent leaks, but if you see one in the road/footpath, please report it so we can sort it! http://t.co/rCCAO2Kr over 24 hours ago via web
